To provide a fair and equal chance of winning to all Rain contest particpants, the following are the official rules for the Rain Recording sponsored Win a 64-bit Mobile Studio featuring LiveBook 64 Contest.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE CHANCES OF WINNING.

All winners must be 18 years of age or older, unless otherwise stated and/or posted.

1. Entering Contest and Choosing and Contacting Winners

• One (1) winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible and valid entries received by 11:59PM EST on October 31st 2008. Odds of winning depend upon the number of entries received. Winner will be notified within ten (10) days of the drawing via electronic mail, at which time his/her e-mail address will be confirmed. By accepting the prize, winner agrees that Rain Computers, Inc., its affiliates, distributors, advertising and promotional agencies and suppliers and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents shall have no liability for, and shall hold all such parties harmless against damage, loss or injury that may arise in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of prizes or participation in this contest. The winner will be offically announced in the October issue of the RainCast Newsletter.
• Rain Computers, Inc. is not responsible for and will not consider incomplete or incorrect surveys, or surveys completed but not received by Rain Computers, Inc. for any reason.
• Rain Computers, Inc. will ship the 64-bit Mobile Studio featuring LiveBook 64 via UPS Ground to the address supplied by the recipient of the winner announcement email.
• Only one entry per email address supplied during the survey will be considered for contest entry.
• No person may enter any contest more than once using multiple email addresses.

• You specifically acknowledge and agree that Rain Computers, Inc., and any subsidiaries and affiliates may utilize information obtained from you in order to contact you and/or to offer their products or services or for other promotional purposes, including online announcements, and as otherwise permitted by their privacy polices. By accepting a prize, winner consents to the use of his or her name, photograph (including the use and appearance of winner's photograph on the web pages of Rain Computers, Inc., and its affiliates and subsidiaries), likeness, biographical information, voice, and e-mail address in this and future promotions and publicity without further compensation, except where prohibited by law.

3. Ownership Of E-Mail Address

• In the event of a dispute as to any entry, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address used to enter the sweepstakes will be deemed to be the entrant. The "authorized account holder" is the natural person assigned an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. Winner may be required to show proof of being the "authorized account holder."

4. Impairment Of Integrity Of Sweepstakes

• If for any reason this sweepstakes or any portion thereof is incapable of running as planned because of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure, strike, act of God, or any other cause beyond the control of Rain Computers, Inc. reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without obligation or prior notice, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the affected part of the sweepstakes. In such event, Rain Computers, Inc. will conduct a drawing to award the prize using all entries received as of the time of cancellation, termination, modification or suspension.

5. Violations Of Rules

• Rain Computers, Inc. reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it reasonably suspects or believes to be tampering with the entry process or the award mechanism, whether on-line or by any other means, or to be acting in violation of these rules. A violation of the rules includes any attempt to enter more than 1 time. Any person attempting to defraud or tamper with this Sweepstakes in any way will be ineligible for prizes and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
